Bristol city centre has above average crime typical of any UK city centre. However Bristol's suburbs are generally safe. The harbourside and Clifton areas are considerably better than some inner city postcodes.
Clifton (BS8), Redland (BS6) and Westbury-on-Trym (BS9) are Bristol's safest areas.
Stokes Croft (BS2), Easton (BS5) and parts of Bedminster have higher crime.
